    hmm bugger

you would be surprised actually how much it would cost to fix
    back to new condition

lets start the bidding $3.50 and a kick in the nuts ;)

I would prob consider it at about $5K

He doesn't mention any damage on the tank but it looks like there's a bit of a
ding behind the rhs bar... or maybe it's just the light reflecting off it
    funny.

He does Nev. It's next to the photo of the tank dint that's hidden behind
the bar...his words aren't too far off it.

Ha ha; ALL Australia knows now 'cause it was explained to us in Crocodile Dundee!

(Aussies are sponges and learn quite quickly; it's just sad that our greatest teachers are Ray Martin, John
Laws, Allan Jones, Fatty Vautin, Eddie Maguire, the cast of Friends etc..)

greatest teachers are Ray Martin, John
We're losing our identity to American culture.

Their TV is like their hamburgers. Bland, tasteless, and made to a formula.

Brainless TV announcers and marketing types hit us with expressions that
have little meaning in Oz but are taken up by the young and impressionable.

    'Out of left field'
    'Threw him a curve ball'
Sidewalks, butts, asses, ketchup, fries, diapers, etc...

We had something unique and we're throwing it away...

I'd never used one until I went to Saudi Arabia working for Telecom Australia.
My villa had one - actually I found it very useful after bouts of Riyadh Belly
when the old backside is feeling worse for wear.

Agreed, but I understand "sidewalk" was a pre-colonial English word. The
yanks kept the original, the pommies adopted "footpath" even though it can
be confused with "a path that is too narow for vehicles or horses".

Actually, I was seconded to Telecom Australia International (TAI) from the
Overseas Telecommunications Commission (I started work with them the day I
turned 17 back in '65). I went to KSA in 1989 but only stayed for 3 months -
I was unacceptable to the Saudis because I didn't have a degree. My
replacement (as Expert Advisor in international telecoms) was an Egyptian
architect. Well, he had a degree!

Never mind, I was posted to Norfolk Island in 1990 as the manager of the OTC
cable station. It was tax free as well but not quite as good as I was able to
screw out of TAI - the Saudi contract said they had to have an expert
advisor in international telecoms so they needed someone in a hurry and I was
    available and willing to go.

Lack of booze? Was there? I recall coming out of a supermarket with one of
my Telecom colleagues. The Bangladeshi on the checkout scanned all the stuff,
1 slab of Swan 0% alcohol beer, Milton steriliser, large garbage bin, plastic
hose, sugar etc., then said "Excuse me sir, but you have forgotten the yeast!"

    Mate, we had a ball.

Oh, just before I left, the Saudies offered me a job working directly for
    them. No way, Jose.

    (1) T.A.I.? My missus used to be their 'brief' for the Middle East and
    Asia. (about 10 years ago)

    (2) Many years ago in a cheap hotel in Paris I found an electricly powered
combination bidet and bogger. Had two buttons. Had to be careful to press
    the right one..........

Test rode the Falco and it's shot to the top of the list. I'm giving it 2
weeks to allow my thoughts to settle and gather some info but it's looking
    promising!
