My arms! My aaaaarms!

  1. It's a lovely day, so I dragged the shite old Notrun out of the garage
and came to work on that,

I need to find another way home. A blast along the A10 has got my arms
aching like a bastard. I'd forgotten how much effort prolonged high
speed on a naked bike is.

    Hmm...

<ponders rear sets, clip ons and making Platy an offer he can't refuse
    for his dustbin>

I have already made the greatest contribution to the fight against climate
change that I can make: I have decided not to breed. Now quit bugging me and
go and talk to the Catholics.

Heh - I had the same idea and took the Harley DX instead of the Pan
Euro and damn near had my arms pulled out of their sockets.
I need to build up some neck muscles methinks.

Heh. If it's a good enough offer, I might throw in the big shiny petrol
    can.

I think there's summat about SOBB riding position (wide handlebars?)
that makes you much more of a sail than on something a bit more modern.
On the Bandit I'm ok[1] up to about triple digits, whereas on eg an old
Beeza holding on at 70[2] is v. tiring.

[1] still tiring compared to a faired bike of course
[2] assuming it will make[3] that speed
    [3] and keep it up
