  1. I don't suppose any of you have an old R12 aircon pump kicking around
    that you want to flog?

  3. I replaced that one last year, and the bloody thing seized up today, a
PITA because it's getting difficult to get R12.

  4. My feet get hot, anyway, it was your wood that broke it.

Well, it was the trip to meet me that broke it. Carrying Si's wood,
obviously - overloaded the suspension and the stress got to the aircon,
    I guess.

Good to meety you at last, anyway - I'll buy you beer suitable for
    crying in ... at Chimay.

    That'll be because it's banned.

Dunno if a drop-in gas would work in a car AC system.

  7. It won't. I had the system refilled last year, but the Outlaw Aircon
bloke has go e to ground for a bit, he'll turn up at some point.

Most likely the reason it's fucked is someone will have filled it with the
modern stuff & fucked the seals & whathaveyou.

You might be able to get it rebuilt.

  15. I've got a new S/H pump for £20, cheaper than a new car. Only problem
is getting it from Rotherham to Hertfordshire.

Snipping sigs is highly recommended too - you ought to try it.
