I had a 888 and it was pretty ordinary. I went to trade it on a new ZX9R a
few years ago and the dealer said, $8k the difference. I had paid $12k for
the 888 a year earlier and the ZX9 was $18k so I was thinking it wasn't too
bad. Being a haggler I said "you'll have to do better than that, give me
your best price". He said "$10k and not a cent more". My brain went into
confuse mode for a minute while I twigged to the fact HE WAS OFFERING ME
MONEY!!!!

I couldn't get out of the place quick enough, brand new ZX9 and a cheque for
$10k in my pocket.
