THIS is why you buy Made In Italy...

Note, not a big difference in purchase price +$1700

Look at the difference now, up to $31,900 !! [Really bols are worth
5cents,good nik Mv's go for $50k or more....]

Better that CBD commercial property :

I guess there needs to be one reason
Great. Pity the stuff they make today is still garbage. Face it Hatz, why
the the Italians still have such atrocious build quality for the prices they
    charge?

I worked with a fella once that won a 888 in a competition. What a heap of
crap it was. I have never ever seen a bike with such a huge amount of
problems..from clutch to electrics, he had it all. Got to the stage where he
& his wife had to budget for servicing (one was $1800 i remember) He sold it
& picked up a 750 fizzer & never had to touch it between services.

I know 4 people who own Aprilias. Each one of them has vowed never to buy
Italian motorcycles again. 2 owned Pegasos, which almost never ran properly
and one of the owners had to wait nearly a year to get a throttle cable out
of the Aprilia idiots. After five years, he sold it for $1500. (Great resale
    value, eh Hatz?)

Another one of them bought an RS125, which was delivered new with a cracked
exhaust and headlights didn't work. Great quality control and respect for
    customers, heh.

Best of all was an ex-Kawasaki salesman who decided to go for the Iatlian
"character" bought a nice new Ducati 999. He definitely got lots of
"character": a few months later describing it as a "chunk of shit".

No wonder the Japanese outsell these knobs.

Look at the number of 5 to 25 year old suzis (or nearly any jap) that still
get daily floggin's & dont stop. You just keep changing the oil & they will
keep running (except for yours). Fuckin' duchitty arnt even in the argument.

victory in the Grand Prix of Total-Fucking-Imaginaria in 1995?
I never thought I'd live to see it again........

Would be proud to have any guzzi in my shed but would rather bob for
stonefish in a bucket than own a ducati. Was sitting in a car watching one
    of these

Heh.. I have a Ducati and 2 Guzzis and love them all.

OK, the Ducati isn't a red bike, and I love my single more than I did
the Pantah it replaced, but hey...

yeh the red ducati leathers didnt go too good with the red CB250 but it was
    a twin ;)

looks like when i paint the VFR it will have to be red since the other
leathers i have now are red

but i guess i could always get another set of leathers , the red set can
match the ducati 250 in the lounge room
