In all cases. Highly derivative and stereotypical IMHO ;)

Although I cancelled both the original post and my 'wrong group' reply
(yes, I know it's not going to cancel everywhere - but it shows a kind
of willing) please feel free to suggest others.

I'm looking for other dark or moody tracks to add in

You never mentioned Leonard Cohen. I suppose "moody" could be used to
    describe him.

Hmmm, probably been too long since I was stoned and wanted to listen to
dark music at the same time. When I did, it definitely tended towards
Pink Floyd (which is about as stereotypical as it gets) There was some
good stuff on the soundtrack for 'Until the end of the world' Nick
Cave, Elvis Costello, Talking Heads and so on

Personally I'd just get un-conscious IIWY

  12. Used to call that suicide music when I listened to him in my teens. God, it
was depressing. Just right for a moody 16 year old.

    Has anyone mentioned Meatloaf?

  13. Music list.
I'll swap you my list for some grass. I haven't been stoned for ages
    and right now it appeals.

I use several names on various groups. I've always been Your Mother
    on AD.

I didn't see anything I'd consider dark and moody in that list.

Dunno, but I'm puzzling as to why Prodigy's "Breathe" is listed twice.
Still, it's a good track for running to IMO/E.

For getting off my face, well when such things interested me, I'd
suspect the list would have been:

-Pink Floyd; Dark Side of the Moon

-Pink Floyd; Wish you were here

    -Pink Floyd; Animals

-Genesis; The Lamb lies down on Broadway.

    -The Doors; The Doors

    -The Doors; Strange Days

    -The Doors; LA Woman

    -Frank Zappa and the Mothers of invention "Just another Band from LA";
    specifically "Billy the Mountain".

-Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention; One Size fits All

-Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention; Overnite Sensation

-Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention; Apostrophe

-Only Ones "Another Girl, Another Planet"

There should also be some Jethro Tull in there (Heavy Horses) as well as
some early Led Zeppelin (I, II, III) and maybe, just maybe, some Gong.

That's probably disclosed quite enough about me for one evening[1].

[1] For sober[2] values of evening, natch.
[2] Haven't been pissed and posting since mid-may.
