Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Whinging Courier, Jun 12, 2005.

  1. Right, since you lot post about poncy music that noone's ever heard of,
I'd like to Recommend Weezer's new album, Make Believe.

There isn't a duff track on the whole Album.

    wisdom:
    Enjoy.

I first heard of them when they did "The sweater song" a couple or three
years back but pushed the boat out and bought their newest, along with
the Scorpions greatest hits type album which I'm about to bung on now.

Where are they (Weezer) playing, just out of interest?

  4. It has had good reviews.

And while we are making recommendations I would like to recommend James
Blunt - Back to Bedlam. It may be number 2 in the album charts but it is
    really rather wonderful.

Oh and Kathryn Williams - Over Fly Over is jolly good too while for
those who like those compilations like "Back to Mine" or "Under the
Influence", where artists select their favourite tracks, I can also
recommend Back to Mine by the Pet Shop Boys.

    Whinging Courier says...
They did a track that appeared on the MS WIndows 95 disc that came with
my first PC. The video was set in Arnold's Cafe in a scene from Happy
Days, I think the track was called Buddy Holly.

I've heard of the Buddy Holly one I think.

This Scorpians album is fairly hot, too.

  14. Great album. If you like that, seek out Jack Johnson - Inbetween Dreams.
Not the same, but I think you'll like it.

    Is it? Oh.
