The battery went flat, but the bike would start with a booster. after
replacing with a new battery the bike will not go through the self
check. The immobiliser light stays on (flashing) irresepective of the
position of the key. none of the keys make it work including the
dreaded RED key. Is there some sort of reset or anyway I can actually
get it to run. On one occasion, with the main fuse removed it actually
went through the correct routine. But of course would not start. When
the fuse was replaced it then started
(with the booster) but now removing the fuse has no effect. It does try
to self check. (there is a noise). The RH indicator will flash once
when the key is turned on. The parking and brake lights work. The
    hazard lights sometimes work.

There is a small possibility that if you didn't do the jump start correctly
that you damaged some of the electronics.

Either way... I think it's time to see your Duck dealer...
