Multi-bike insurers?

Any recommendations, as CN don't appear to want my business.

All my bikes are coming in at around the same to insure individually
(£180-ish FC) - to insure any combination of 2 of the BMW / Ducati and
VFR come in at around £220.

If I put all 3 on, they want nearly £700.... but don't add any extra for
    a 4th bike.

    Very bizarre business model.

Have you tried doing it online, or is this by phone? I found them much
cheaper when I did mine via their website, as suggested by their guy on
    the phone.

    Just done it online.

Also tried MCE - their 'multibike' quote only allows you to enter a
single bike.... and Bennetts can't quote online for my mix of bikes /
    garaging.

Bennetts are cunts, don't bother. MCE are easier to talk to on the
phone as their website doesn't really help anyone.

I *think* I'm with MCE at the moment, so will call them tomorrow.

Trying CIA at the moment (although I could be with them.... need to
check) - they offer 'online multibike' which also only accepts a single
    bike.

Tried Ebike? You can have up to 4 bikes with them. UK breakdown included.
No CIHAGM and a few reports of wank service if you claim, but no worse than
most. I've used them in the last 5 years, car & bike, and they got
paperwork to me on time when I changed cars.

If you use Quidco you can get a £20 bribe

    £800.

    Taking the piss.

It would be cheaper to insure them all on individual policies.

Is it the remote garage that is driving up the price? Tried a comparison
    with all bikes at home?

If not, then you'll just have to move out of the Bettws-Culverhouse-Gurnos
    Triangle.

It's the number of bikes - playing around, I can insure any combination
of 2 bikes for pennies, adding a 3rd or 4th bumps the premium.

Remote parking adds about 30-40 quid to any kind of quote.

from your post to Lozzo, it doesn't sound like a) you know who you are
currently insured with and b) don't have a renewal quote yet, so wait. They
    may surprise you...

I was looking as I need to add the VFR when I collect it in a couple
of weeks and also think it's about time I did something with the
    Chinese heap.

My general favourite insurers are H&R - it's rare they're beaten
significantly on price and their customer service has been pretty good
in the ten years or so I've been using them for one policy or another.

Bike Team were much cheaper for me than eBike. Not so convenient
though as it's 'phone-based rather via a web site.

Current insurers will charge me £109 to add both bikes, with 6 months of
    the policy left.

Of that, £40 is an administration charge.

So I'm happy with that - as it means all 4 bikes for around £250 on a
    full year policy.
