Something happen up that way today? Saw about 50 cop cars mustered at the
weigh station late this arvo.

Well yeah, when I see half of the states highway patrol cars in one spot
it's usually safe to floor it from there on!

 

So if there are:-

flock of sheep
gaggle of geese
murder of crows
herd of elephants
troop of roos
swarm of bees
bevy of beauties
pounce of cats
hover of trout
a smack of jellyfish.
a parliament of owls.

etc etc etc.

What do you call a gathering of HWP police?

They were having a rind table discussion, chewing the fat and crackling some
knuckles.

 

Actually since they have chased all the bikes away with ridiculous speed
limits, they now us it for their weekend time trials.

 

There's a lot of nursing homes up that way. They were after all those
speeding grannies on their mobility scooters.

 

But there _are_ two speed cameras at Mt White...
Only saw one car on Sunday though (at Pie In The Sky,on my way back from
Moonan Flat)

Right in front of the two LED variable limit signs on the F3.
S'pose that's to have both the car and limit sign in the photos.

Yep. That's about it. Anywhere there's a fixed camera in a variable
limit zone, the variable limit sign will be in the photo, so they can
prove the speed limit at the time, and prove that the sign wasn't
blacked out.
