none of the above I wasn't at the toyrun last year and the previous toyruns was farcical the one before that was good the one before that was good too. DC didn't organise all of them. and wtf is this harsh week shit u keep bringing up? That was like 2 years ago keep up with the times Nev.
I only mentioned one. Why do you extend the scope to include past years? The farcical toy run would have been the one organised by the board of the MRAA who tried to have DC's life membership revoked, wasn't it. Nev.. '03 ZX12R
Somehow, he also got my e-mail into his list, <shrug> not that I make a secret of it. A while back he sent some waffle or other, which I disagreed with, so I thought fairy nuff, I'll send an opposing view point to all these punters. It tied up my dial-up line for ages. I expected after that, to be removed from the list, but it didn't happen. regards, CrazyCam
Zebee said.... MA has also launched what it calls its "Riders Division". Amongst other things, it aims to lobby for riders. When an MA rep presented MA's plan for a rider's division at the last MRA general meeting, he said that MA wouldn't be "stepping on the toes of existing lobby groups". Yet, in its website FAQ, it talks about doing just that. It might be a good thing. However, so far I cannot find out how I can be elected to any committee or whatever if I so desired. Plus, MA appears to be acommercial entity, despite having a .org.au domain. I couldn't find any reference to it being an incorporated association here in Vic, but I did find its registered business name at CAV. Presumably, it's listed with ASIC (I haven't checked). So, if it's going to lobby for me, I'd like to have a say as to what it lobbys about. Yes, my point in the other note. Last year, the MRA did some work with a local council (Casey Shire, I think it was - can't remember exactly) about freeing up land for a local motocross track. It was a small win for the locals, apparently. Other than that, there really hasn't been much interest from that sector.
Hamish, I'm sure you're smart enough to know that anyone who puts anything of this nature in writing is a fool for exposing themselves to the very low bar that is the libel/slander/defamation lawsuits hurdle in this country. At least if spoken over dinner it's a "he said she said" problematic proof, whether on usenet or on email anyone who sends you more info needs their head read. You are aware that (for example) the truth is NOT a defense against libel... JL

MCC of NSW attempts to represent dirt riders along with all their other constituents (successfully or not is a different discussion) JL
JL Fishing-to-****-over was not my plan, but I think you have probably clued up some others here. Hammo
Now I've been "TOLD" (twice no less). Can't say that steric hindrance will get in the way of our JL! Hammo (oh, glub, I'll have to watch out for the goons now...)
Who's code of conduct are we referring to ? The current government's code of conduct doesn't seem to have much to do with ethics, justice, law OR professionalism. JL (but YMMV)
You lucky lucky bastard !! Steric:Of or relating to the spatial arrangement of atoms in a molecule Errm, what ? Heheh, not from me, can't afford them. JL
Hey, I didn't vote for them, and that wasn't the code of conduct I was talking about. Hammo (I have anci's in my panci's)
