ITYH incorrectly. Of those that have ever tried them, there's probably
about a 90% or higher satisfaction level.

Simply put, they rock. I even get the laptop in mine, and the
waterproof cover does exactly what it says, as I proved again this
morning coming in through _torrential_ rain. Not a drip got through
until I opened it to get my pass out on entering the office building.

And I'd just like to state, once again, that gore-tex[1] also rocks a
fat one. Bone dry, I was, except for one or two drips onto my face,
despite leaving my overtrouser flies open.

You misunderstand.

Those that have ever tried them is, I suspect, a small proportion of
those who ride motorcycles, and therefore could be considered a
minority.

The number of people who like them, compared with the number who
think they bugger up the look of a perfectly good tank, would be
an equally interesting (ie. not very) statistic.

 

"Bugger up the look"? FFS, what is this all about? A bike's a tool,
not a jewel.
