I have the theme from Rocky (the original) on my player when I'm out running. Works best when running up large flight of steps. Also currently listening to The Darkness, The Datsuns, The DriveBy Truckers and other bands that begin with "The D".
I was listening to Hundred Reasons and Puddle of Mudd on the cardio machines which worked quite well, especially HRs. Just for a change from the mindless dance crap they pipe in.

I was thinking that rather than help get one's heartrate up a bit most of your list seemed more appropriate to sitting around smoking a fag.
