Of course, what I could always do is see if anyone else has tried the
same thing already... and having done so, it appears that using a
bog-standard 2.5mm to 3.5mm adaptor works.

Looks like I'm off to Maplin on the way home, then: cigarette lighter
socket for the bike, in-car USB charger, and a 2.5mm-3.5mm adaptor.

Hmmm... suppose I should check if those headphones actually fit under my
lid first, shouldn't I?

Actually, I haven't got the iMate anymore. I've got an iPAQ 6315,
Pretty much the same situation, though.

Fucking pos, though. It just does so much. I couldn't be without it
now.
