Mounting a GPS - any thoughts?

    Indeed. Plus they overheat and crash in a tankbag, causing idiots
    like me to go 70 miles further across italy than my turning before
    realising, then nearly running out of fuel. Still the countryside was
    nice.

  2. I've tried the iphone in the tankbag gps solution with similar results.
    Add to that I cooked it causing it to power off while it cooled down,
    leaving me with no idea where I was.

    Thanks for all the replies and advice. Looks like no "easy" or obvious
    solution after all.

    I'll figure something out I'm sure once I'm up and about again.
    I just thought I'd ask here in case its been done before - no point re
    inventing the wheel etc....

    I think the problem is that Paul frequents areas of NI populated with
    thieving pikey vermin ready to steal just about anything.

  7. Depends.... I treated myself to a lovely nice new magnetic Oxford Mini
    Tank Bag bought online when I got my K100RS a few years ago.....

    At least it works on the Honda now..... !
