I now have a grandson called Arlo.

Courtesy of stepdaughter, who went to school with Abe.

Riding up the M74 on Friday night, near Lockerbie, someone was standing on a
bridge ... the wrong side, quick pull off and call plod.

Checked the news, no sign of M way shut or anything.

    Scots must be harder.

Did the delivery involve closure of a motorway ?

  9. For a long time I've thought that the basic car test pass shouldn't
allow you on the motorway - you should need to pass a secondary test
for motorway driving because it requires a different mind-set to normal
    driving.

    Motorbike passes obviously exempt..

I was negotiating my way round J6 when the bike was being brought down
the on-ramp on the back of a recovery trick. Didn't look too badly
damaged at a glance but that story would explain why I was late for my
    tunnel crossing.

Oh, the inconvenience of it all.
