    Lancashire, eh?

Spete, this is your chance to pick up a left clog cheap.

Why am I not surprised that the car was a Volvo?

I could have lost my right foot once.

It was in a Mk IV Cortina so pretty much assured - I was quite lucky
    though.

Rather odd self imposed principle I had at the time - wouldn't use
Granadas but 2.0 Cortinas were ok if I'd run out of Trunnys.

Hmm, I still wonder if some of my decisions were based on any thing other
    than blind contrariness.

My mind is fuzzy on that one, it's been some years since I saw any of
    those.

Now that I've mentioned Lancashire and clogs I can't get Mike Harding out of
    my head ...

#It's hard being a cowboy in Rochdale,
#Cos the spurs they don't fit right on yer clog,
#It's hard being a cowboy in Rochdale,
#Cos people laugh when I ride by on our Alsatian dog.

Perhaps the motorcyclist is in the Charles Dexter Ward.

  17. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember "Cane"
    Careless cleaning of Madame Guillotine.
