Motorcyclist Crashes In A Car Passing Maneuver...............video footage

This was an accident captured by another Motorcycle following wit a
camera. A Motorcycle is attempting to pass a car on a country hwy, but
the car in front of him is trying to do the same. This looks so typical
and ended in a bad crash. The Quiz Question here is, who's fault would
you say is this ?

The bike is in the wrong

it is likely that he is well over the speed limit

the car had his blinker on and started overtaking as soon as the car went
past
and in fact the car was moving across the lane ready to pull out before the
last
car had gone past

 

Agreed, The bike is in the wrong. Can't guess if he was speeding.

The lower right of the movie shows that he was doing about 170kph.
it looks like it was a cop cam.

He's being followed by a cop and makes no indication to overtake.

His fault.....shame the bike had to pay the price.

Yeah, the rider was pretty lucky.. looks like the cop car going over the
top of the bike and bouncing off the guard rail saved the rider.

Bikes in the wrong - wrong place/wrong time and doing all wrong. the car to
as he must have seen the coppers too!

What cyclist?

 

Well I have to agree.. not nice to see the rider go down but funny to
watch a cop get cleaned up. Just reinforces what I posted about cops in
high speed chases last week.. they should be restricted to the limit
like everyone else. It would be interesting to see what happened behind
the police car in this video.. whether he ran the two cars off the road
when he bounced off the guardrail back into their path.
