You'd be surprised how often I hear that.

I have already made the greatest contribution to the fight against climate
change that I can make: I have decided not to breed. Now quit bugging me and
go and talk to the Catholics.

I don't think it'll be a problem after they have banned S019 from using
guns on the grounds someone might get hurt.

I think they should close the staff canteen as well. Hot tea can be very
    dangerous.

I'd like to see them filter through 24" gaps.

  11. Twats. As if it's going to stop psychos doing their thang.
    And this...
"But relatives of those killed in the March attack in the town of
Winnenden, near Stuttgart, are calling for an outright ban on pistols
    and high-calibre weapons."

Wtf is a 'high calibre' weapon when it's at home?
    Ignorant, lazy journalist shocker!

  12. Indeed. Column in today's Guardian -- people who drink very hot tea
double their chance of oesophageal cancer. (Hmm, wonder if my cousin
used to drink very hot tea?)

  15. The use of 'high' strikes me as a total misnomer.

Large, certainly. But that's what all the girls tell me.

Common phrase around here when the Plod sirens are heard... "Pies must've
come", so you're not far off.

Yeah, fair point. Large would be a much better word.
