------------First I wanna say, atleast Odinn responded to me. I tried
to get a dialog going a few weeks ago, about ''wood working'' He had
mentioned building somthing or another, and seemed to be a nice feller.

I chimed in complimenting him, and told him I've been a woodworker many,
many years. That I had a fairly nice wood shop building. That I had just
built a dining table and chairs. I ask him had he ever made a chair.
Told him it was an interesting task.

Well, well, Odinn responded using the same language that you read above.
Out of the clear blue, the guy tells me I am stupid, ilterate, and a
fucking idiott.

Now, if you think he's in the right, great, but if you think he's acting
like a complete Jerk, then you are an honest person who comes in here to
be a civil acting contributer to reeky or txmoto.

Odinn, probably, in anger has already put me in his Bozo File, and may
not see this, that's why I'm talking to him in the 3rd person

That's it. I see no less than 10 different threads all split off from
the "Motorcycles" thread without any content change. At the very most a
justified thread could have been split off as:
"inane subjected changes (was: Motorcycles)"

Since I don't live on Usenet, this is more trouble than it's worth. I
tried to give BJ a second chance based on the comments that others had
made about his content and attempt to overcome WebTV limits by quoting
context and other things. This current trend isn't a limitation of the
WebTV interface; it's intentional. That, along with the need to decode
what he's trying to say, makes the cost more than the value received.

 

I asked a couple of months ago, based on apparent intent, if BeeJay and
BJW might be the same.

i'm working with him on that and he's doin' just fine, i think. i
think the biggest impediment is that his only exposure to usenet is from
WTV so he doesn't get the big picture yet. i think the dawn will come,
even if it's only google groups instead of WTV and that's an improvement.
