motorcycle with steamturbine

Discussion in 'Classic Motorbikes' started by jan siepelstad, Jun 21, 2005.

  1. A number of years ago (before internet), I've seen a drawing of a modern
motorcycle wich had a boiler, feedwaterpump, steamturbine, condenser etc.
Offcourse all relatively small, otherwise it wouldn't fit.
I'm not sure but I think it was a Swiss design.
I've been searching the web, but can't find anything.
Does anyone of you now where to find this?

    Best regards,
    Jan

I think Jay Leno was having a steam bike built, but I can't find any
    references.

Thus spake TMack unto the assembled multitudes:
From the 'chuffing' sounds that was making, the motor was doing about
240rpm. And about 15mph. So, if he can tweak it a bit to, say, 3000rpm
we're looking at a 200mph motorcycle. Cor! CIHAGM?
