LOL .. well .. perhaps it just proves Kwaka makes a good motor. I'll have to
tell this to people who think that 40,000km and an engine is fucked.

Aye, true, I wasn't looking out for that. Front ram air gives that one away
    for sure.

Actualy...It's definatly not a 98 from the swingarm, frame, forks and
brakes, but I have a feeling that is a 98 front fairing piece.

It reminds me of a story I heard a while ago where at some Harley get
together they got a jap cruiser, drained the oil, pinned open the throttle
and suspended it above the ground. They were all cheering ready for it to
explode but it ended up running for something like 10 minutes by which stage
they were a little embarresed and bored.

  9. At the same time, though, this one would likely be in for a rebuild in the
very near, as opposed to distant, future.

Engine abuse doesn't just make it more likely to let go completely; it also
    shortens its life expectancy.

My old CBR 250 RR had done 40,000 Kms by the time I sold it, (1000 of them
at the track) the engine didn't burn a drop of oil and ran like when I first
got the bike, Pity about the rest of the bike, needed new disks for the
breaks and the suspension front and back needed to be either replaced or
    rebuilt.

    Can I jump in first with the mandatory;

    1) How 'bout I'll give you $7.50 and a kickinthenutz

    2) You'll need to split the cases first before you can replace the
    can.
