I reckon a quick google or bing would find an answer if they really
wanted to know :) How ya dooooon ?

  2. Yeah, you're absolutely right. Much better I think to cold call
people and ask them those questions over the telephone to get a
credible response. No wait.. stand on street corners and wait for
motorcyclists to ride past, then follow them home, ask to see rego
papers to prove that the bike is theirs, some sort of evidence that
all the bikes they claim to have previously owned were real, produce
police records to prove that they really did have the accidents they
claimed to, put them on lie detectors to ensure that the details they
answer in the other questions are correct too. You're right... These
    MUARC people are stupid.

But not as stupid as the people who do surveys at the ATO. Can you
believe that every year they send me cheques, or deposit money
straight into my bank account, all based on the numbers I wrote on a
piece of paper, or submitted on their e-tax program. They just ask me
questions and then take my word that the answers I submit are
correct. in fact it's even their stated policy to believe that I am
    honest. Talk about naive!

So Nev, would you be admitting to cheating and telling porkies to the Tax
    Department

Thus by doing so, making the rest of the taxpayers pay more.?

Wow, look out world, George strikes again. Did you read something that
someone else posted, and then reply to me by accident? because I can't
find any correlation between what I wrote and your response.

  4. Then, what about this little piece Nev ??

You are stating that what you put in the return may not be factual
Of coarse if I was the tax man and it was up to me,
    I wouldn't believe a word you wrote

I 'stated' nothing of the sort. Neither did I suggest it or imply it.
I merely said that I fill out my own tax return and the tax office take
me on my word that the figures on the form are correct.

As usual George, you are reading things, then inventing little fantasies
in your head and blurting out crap from the other end as if it's true.
Maybe you should **** off to wherever Gerry went. He probably misses you.

Yeah but you sometimes write interesting and entertaining posts so I
generally read you (although you do get suckered into being Nev's
    whipping-boy a bit often).
I just can't understand why you'd call someone an idiot one minute and then
go chatting with them the next.

    More top work!
I would've thought "Castra" (two letter off castrate) and Semenya (two
letter ON semen) were kind of obvious-enough though.

  9. Well done Nev, you are ducking and weaving around the point that you did
write stuff which alludes to you cheating the tax department.
I do not have to invent fantasies at all, because you have clearly written
    them as stated above
Now you are saying, that even though you did write what you did, you really
    didn't mean what you wrote
It is you Nev who is into the fantasy world.
First you "state" quite the obvious that you could have cheated on your tax
return and if you did, then the tax department actually believe what you put
in your return so they are not going to check because they are too naive to
    check.
We can only thank our lucky stars that you are not in a position of
authority, then maybe you are trying to get elected into Government, because
you are ducking and weaving better than Paul Keating ever did.

  10. Pray tell oh knobless one, where Yeebok actually said anything like that
I shirley cannot recall reading anything like that
although Yeebok did disagree with what I said about him at one stage which
he is quite entitled to without going into a rage and start trying to get
the whole newsgroup turned aginst one or two particular persons exactly the
way you have done and are still trying to manipulate the group to your
    satisfaction.\
Then again, I doubt if you will read this, unless someone replies to it and
you just happen to have the misfortune to read it through their reply
    Grow up knobless.
You do not own this or any other newsgroup and do not have the right to
dictate to anyone what to do and how to do it.

It was peaceful for a while and I thought there may have been a chance that
    you had stopped your rantings
but no, you had only gone to NZ for a holiday, then you showed up here again
what happened...didn't they like you over there ??

Here's a revelation for you Nev; George is a fool who just writes stupid
    crap.
Obviously you didn't know that so I'm glad I could help inform you.

    mention it..

Gerry's still here. He just doesn't have anything to post if there's no-one
to play the hysterical argue-machine game with. [1].
Give it some time and he may even resort to posting something
    motorcycle-related......

    What's the answer?

  16. I completed this survey honestly and truthfully BUT the cynic in me has
doubts as to the wisdom of answering questions such as " What is the fastest
speed you have attained on a public road in the past 12 months " truthfully

When the results are compiled and submitted to the organisation
commissioning the survey ( often a Government Body) The group running the
survey, hoping for repeat commissions, are probably aware of what outcomes
this government body deems appropriate and possibly screws the results to
promote certain held views.. i.e. 1 Excess speed is often a determining
factor in accidents. 2 Motorcyclists are more non conformist than the
general population. 3 Traffic enforcement should be channelled into
addressing an attitude change regarding conformity with speed limit
    compliance.

Aren't most road safety experts little more than mathematicians?

But that's just the cynic in me.

    sigh

I, too, answered truthfully, and was almost surprised to notice a 90 kph

We probably are, and I'm sure that has nothing to do with the fact
that road laws are only about the lowest common denominator and hence
    are highly cage-centric.
No. Mathematicians are *much* smarter than them, and tend to
understand correlations and statistics (otherwise they'd be out of a
    job).
