  2. Are you sure you were doing the same survey?

I entered the bikes I have and the bike I mainly ride.

also some of the bikes I have owned in the past but I can't recall having to
enter any of them more than once.

Or when the survey had you number your bikes from 1 to 5, did you put your
only bike down on all the five lines ?

Just because you own bike A does not mean that on other occasions
referred to in other questions you were riding bike A. You might have
borrowed bike B off a mate, or taken bike C for a testride, etc

    I completed the survey.

Their choice of puke for the colouring was my biggest complaint.

And when I entered I only have one bike then had to enter its details
    several times was annoying.

George, no.. I am not referring to the start. I can read "Bike 1" and
differentiate "bike 2" from "bike 1 again" OK ? :)

It asks about what bike you were riding - eg last accident and other
recent events. Having only had one bike meant I had to enter it several
times. The references to leaving things blank was when they were not
    applicable, not previously provided.

That was how I read it anyway.

I find it highly unlikely that someone would go to that level of detail
compiling that survey about motorcycling accidents without having been
exposed to such a common anagram related to motorcycle accidents.

    Once a school-teacher ..........

Acronym is an anagram of "am corny" or "my acorn".

Yes I do apologise and I as penance here is an anagram.

Rearranging the letters in the name of South African runner "Castra
Semenya" will spell "Yes, a secret man".

sheeesh..it's not like they are asking "do you have genital warts?"

There be another study somewhere that statistically profiles the
"truthfulness" of unconfirmed responses for such anonymous surveys.
Unfortunately the problem with that study would be:-

    1) It was conducted (again) by a university
    2) it was on a Friday
    3) it was at the Bar
    4) the respondents were all students

Yeah, you're absolutely right. Much better I think to cold call
people and ask them those questions over the telephone to get a
credible response. No wait.. stand on street corners and wait for
motorcyclists to ride past, then follow them home, ask to see rego
papers to prove that the bike is theirs, some sort of evidence that
all the bikes they claim to have previously owned were real, produce
police records to prove that they really did have the accidents they
claimed to, put them on lie detectors to ensure that the details they
answer in the other questions are correct too. You're right... These
    MUARC people are stupid.

But not as stupid as the people who do surveys at the ATO. Can you
believe that every year they send me cheques, or deposit money
straight into my bank account, all based on the numbers I wrote on a
piece of paper, or submitted on their e-tax program. They just ask me
questions and then take my word that the answers I submit are
correct. in fact it's even their stated policy to believe that I am
    honest. Talk about naive!

Knobdoodle you didn't really have to read, nor reply. Far as I can tell
George and I were having a quite polite conversation. Move along,
    nothing to see here.
