Yes, it's the big annual one that has been at the San Mateo Expo Center
in recent years. I'll be helping staff the AFM booth on Sunday
afternoon!

While you're there, ask the BMW sales folk why they lost the CHP contract if
you want to pull their chain a bit. They were sure touting their patrol
bike in LA last weekend.

Can't be because the Motor Company outbid them, the H-D's break down less,
BMW's lack of a nearby dealer in some reaches of the state that make service
difficult for the patrol's bike fleet, or the A&S cycle debacle with the
state purchaser.

Maybe they are just overpriced? They sure seem to depreciate quick as
though they were grossly overpriced to begin with.

Hey, if any of your PC800 weirdo buddies are looking for a
bike, there's a cherry one at MotoJava right now. 5K miles
on the clock, and it looks like it was only ridden by a

Of course they outbid them, why else would anyone in their sane mind
