Where does one go to find out the cost and location of a motorcycle safety
class??? Do you have to have a bike of your own to take the class? Is it
expensive? Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in Advance,

    Jackie

MSF supplies motorcycles for their classes. In addition to the excellent
beginner training you get, successful completion of the class can take the
place of the driving portion test for your license.
It was about $150 for the 2 day class.

I appreciate your help. I forgot the part about the driving portion of the
test being negated by the class.

Thanks for the help. Maybe if I get this done, I will be one step closer to
not having to ride on the back for the rest of my life... :)

According to a close relative that teaches that class in the DFW area, the
I took the MSF class in Rosenberg in January even though I have
had a license for 25 years. My 20 yr old son went with me also.
    http://www.motorcycleridercourse.com . I learned a lot !

We had 3 hours of classroom and 5 hours of riding each day.

    Thanks,
    Lynn

Just finished my 5th ERC course this past December. I take it every
other year. The format is different and some of the new drills are great
(i liked #4 and the do a figure 8 one handed drills a lot).

There are regular classes held at American Honda Corp, just off 114 on
    Ester. Easy access.
