Significant gains in power may be achieved by the removal of wasps from the
    airbox.

Not the best way to make it sound like a stroker anyway. As most folk know
you have to stick a fag packet in the spokes :)

...and the exhaust (see previous posts). [Different wasps, but.]

Back in my moped days I had a little yam which (once) had a "biscuit tin"
air filter like a fizzi, leaving a bare forward facing carb.

Sitting in a carpark with the engine ticking over I was chatting with a
group of people when one of them pointed out a curious was hovering to
investigate the buzzing intake - a quick blip of the throttle and the wasp
made an interesting noise passing through the reed valve.

First thought was to clear them out before any of them blew into the carbs.
They were mostly black, and all dead - looks like they'd been in there for
some time. Not sure whether they crawled in, or I rode through a swarm, but
there were about a dozen identifiable bodies in there, plus a good few more
    mangled-up ones.

Heh, I had this picture of you opening the lid and falling backwards

Dammit. Shouldn't have elaborated. They were six inches long, and on fire,
    if that helps?
