Motorcycle Grand Prix

  1. They're advertising it as the 10th all over the place. Doesn't make any
sense at all to me, The Motorcycle GP has been running since 1989. The only
10th you could call it is the 10th since it returned to PI, ignoring the
wins by Gardner, Gardner, Rainey, Doohan, Schwantz, Kockinski, Doohan and
    Capirossi.

It's really the 18th isn't it? Even for the people that want to ignore the
Eastern Creek years it would still be the 12th.

  5. I guess they'll claim the 20th in 2 years time. Marketing shit seems to win
    over truth every time.

Probably the 10th year that the Australian Grand Prix Corporation have
been running it. Obviously still very Kennett-minded, and practically a
    sub-branch of the Liberal party.

  11. You've hit the nail on the head!

I think they need Corks and Mad-Biker writing their advertising copy from
    now on.
