How the hell did the stylists and marketing dept. allow such a farkin-ugly heap through the channels? http://www.martyh.com/2005-09-15_MC_Expo/imagepages/image31.htm It's mind blowing. Jules
http://www.martyh.com/2005-09-15_MC_Expo/imagepages/image41.htm That's nice... finally a colour scheme on a sports bike that doesn't look like it was designed by 12 year olds G-S
I reckon the R1/R6 of the last year or two is head-and-shoulders above the other Japs in terms of colour schemes. I'm not fussed in the traditional white-blue but the red, black and that charcoal/titanium colour are tops in my book!
Yah... I'm not fussed about the white/blue either... but yah those were nice colours too. If Yamaha can do it why can't the other jap manufacturers? *stands away before the flame war starts* G-S
Huh? You're taking the piss aren't you? All R1's Ive seen are ugly. OTOH, I can't tell the difference between most Jap sports bikes without looking at the Logos. Most seem to say RRRRR, pirate bikes. Theo
You're a day late, Theo (or is it still Monday in WA? http://www.talklikeapirate.com/piratehome.html Moike
That's the point Theo... the R1/R6 doesn't look like that in some colour options [1] G-S [1] Yeah... ok some... and then it looks like a modified bike... or a sports tourer... but at least it's different (a bit).
Yeah but this one is less messy and busy-looking than the average UJM (In my opinion) http://www.yamaha-motor.com.au/motor/images/models/172/172_01_1l.jpg
