Not necessarily. Statistically, half the people are below median.

    For purposes of this forum,
"hair-brained" adj. describing persons whose primary objection to
protective helmets is the impact on their coiffures.

So they should. Rodeo performers need all the protection they can get.

Do they protect 'sheep-riders' as well?......Just asking for a friend,
    of course........

That depends on your definition of reasonable speed.

At 50-60 mph I can hear my bike's exhaust note bouncing back off any
    large oncoming traffic.

That is LOUD, and that's with the baffles still fitted.

Based on your top-posting, you're already half-way there, wanker.
    Start trolling.
Nothing wrong with a quick "**** off". Just don't reward the troll
    with a "real" response.

Well, obviously, anyone who jerks off a muckraker.
Masturbate someone who posts incendiary diatribes.

    Hehe..bless. Yeah I can see you're a bit embarassed realising you've
been a bit of a tit. Honestly, it was the same for most of us when we
first started posting as well so don't sweat it, CaptnDan. You'll
    learn.

No, seriously, I truly enjoyed your bitchy litttle post. Though why you
chose to sign it "Dipshit" is beyond me. I guess it must be low
self-esteem. But now you've let me down. Maybe you're new at
'condescending'. It just doesn't work for you. Stick with what you
know, and keep up the good work! :)

Above about 35mph, the noise from your helmet is louder than the noise
    of your bike.

  18. New lives definitely aren't free - all those flowers, clothes, shoes,
fertility treatments, etc cost a lot more than a helmet :)

    Hummm......let's see.

I don't own a Hog but would like too. :)

Is it the cyclists that not safe or the car that hits them?

I wear a helmet more times than not. But when it's 105 degrees, a
helmet cause sweat that gets into my eyes and causes an unsafe moment.

I rarely exceed the speed limit. When I do, it's to avoid an unsafe
car driver. I only run red lights when it's unsafe to try to stop: as
    do most car drivers.

My bike gets about 40 to 50 miles per gallon. More economical and
certainly more green than a car.

Yes, there are unsafe cyclists. But there are unsafe car drivers too
and there are more unsafe car drivers because they think they're
sheilded by metal. Not true...as we all know. So at least the
cyclists have an idea of their mortality.

I ride a bike because it saves gas which is better for our county.
It's better for the environment. And I have better mental health
because it's more relaxing than a car; it gives a sense/feel for the
world that you don't get with a car.

Sounds like this guy needs a bike more than anyone!
