Motorcycle Aluminum casing restoration tools , specific walnut shell media Help , please !

Hello one and all:

I need 50lb. bag of walnut shell media for blasting my cases.

I do not know the correct grade or coarsness
and I do not have a source.

Please help me some one. I have searched the web ever night for 20 hours total
with no success. Google, Usenet , Yahoo. etc.

Prefer west coast source, I live in Western Washington State.


I have also called every local auto store and they havent a clue.


I already have sand, glass beads in my stores so I need this really bad.

Thank you (anyone) for any help or leads to the correct media.

I am trying to get the factory look on my casings (main , not covers)


(PS. or plastic media of equal utility)

Mike, I know you prefer west coast, but look at

they have walnut and poly abrasives. They are pretty expensive though.
Eastwood is a good company I have dealt with them in the past.

I think walnut shell media is used for tumbling rifle shells --
have you looked at the local gun shops?
