That I can live with but I do wonder if Essex are going to follow this
magnificent example and if I ring up sometime in the future and say that
there are cars speeding up and down my road they will send out a bike to
take photos? Somehow I doubt it.

Tell them there are some evil motorcyclists speeding down your road and
they'll be with you in no time.

Any un-used fireworks, fuses, etc would be appreciated as we`re fast running
    out of explosives.

Donations to be deposited around the base of numerous sites located in
    Northamptonshire.

They are normally marked by a large blue "pole" with an adjustable square on
top marked "Truvelo" in white or yellow up the side.

    Please give generously ;-)

ATM No chance, The senior staff of Essex police are very anti police
bike, something to do with bikes being too expensive, not just bike
cost but additional training and equipment costs and the fact that
they are no more effective than a car due to limitations placed on
what they can do with regard to health and safety regulations. its now
regarded to be a lot cheaper to hire in bikes c/w riders if bikes are
needed ie for royal escort duties.

more than enough speeding bikers to deal with...

The common cry of the googlisti.

    No - not me guv.

as it happened i *did* google, in fact using the advanced
restricted search to a week as one has slightly better things to do
than read *all* the possible ukrm postings with keywords, motorbike
    speed and camera.

Anyway google is not a complete record of ukrm postings so googling
and ginging are not mutually exclusive.

Of course one might suggest all postings include a IAG [1] rating
system to help verify the degree of googleness prior to posting.

g0 - i know this is a ginge but posted it anyway
g1 - i'm too stupid to work google
    g2 - i can't be arsed to google
    g3 - beginner google
    g5 - competent google
    g7 - IAG member googled
    g8 - IAG observer googled
    g8 - IAG examiner googled

    onto the treasured

g9 - issued only by the full panel of IAG examiners after spending the
    entire day sadly googling.

... and yes this *is* a g2 posting, whilst the original gets a g4.

It's an idea, but inevitably within a week of gaining a g9, either your
computer would crash, or your ISP would pull your account.

I'm a fuckwit and my fingers work faster than my brain. The sound of
one brain cell flapping and all that.

"IAG isn't worth what it was" is what I should have said. Man.
