motorbike licence

I am thinking of travelling to England in the summer, for a period of two
weeks. Is it possible to take my motorcycle test ( theory and practice)
within this time and how much will it cost?
I am thinking of taking the bike licence back home to Denmark and getting it
added onto my car licence.
Comments wanted please.

Yes, it will take about 3 days total for the shortest type of course that
you can do. Whether you can do the test in the uk and have the
entitlement transferred to a non-uk licence, I don't know.

Certainly is Martin. If you are over 21, you can do Direct Access over a
space of 3 or 4 days, most schools have pre-booked test spaces. The thing
which might hold you up is the theory/hazard awareness test, but you can
pre-book that at a test centre local to you. Do good preparation though.
As a car driver of 30+ years who never took the m/c test when I should have
done in the dim and distant past, taking the theory and m/c practical test
recently has made me a much better car driver and launched my new bike
pasttime.
Costs - as well as the test fees, about £300 - £350, including CBT. Will
take 3 to 4 days, depending how well you do. Varies a lot depending on
area, as will test availability. Budget for £400 to £450.

True, but I don't think he can just add it to his Danish (?) license. There
is a grace-period (well at least in NL).
