    Hi,

Does anyone know a decent and cheap company that hire out motorbikes
in or around Gloucestershire? Fowlers in Bristol don't do it anymore,
the only one I can find is Fraser of Gloucester but they want 80 quid
a day for anything - which will make my 4 day Bulldog Bash stint
    rather expensive.

    Thanks,

    Sean

I don't know of anywhere. £80/day is about par for the course.[1] The only
cheaper places I've come across are those caterinng for couriers, who rent
out functional but frequently old and tatty machines, usually without
insurance. These are concentrated around London, obviously.

[1] I think Fowlers were about £50/day last time I checked, but was
    several years ago.

Considering you can hire a car for <£20 a day, that's a bit daft.

A quick google turned up this lot.

    A tenner a day for a CG125 up to 90 quid/day for an R1

Thanks for that. They're not local, which might make it a pain, but
there's more choice than the local lot. I've just been told my mate
has got me 2 free tickets to the Bulldog Bash, so that's 90 quid saved
already! I might actually make it there at this rate...

    cheers,

    seany
