    Rossi[1]

Lorenzo will continue to crash. Stoner will be Gibernated.

[1] especially as the rules have changed again and Rossi is simply better
than anyone else at adapting to and developing a new bike

As much as i love the man, i think he showed a few 'chinks' in his
    armour last few years.

Don't get me wrong, he's the best, but they are snapping at his heels.

Given the results from last year & 'form' Stoner should have won to me
until he got poorly, Lorenzo is pushing too hard & Rossi whilst, the
best i have ever seen, he's making mistakes he's not done before.
    Bike or him?

Whoever, whatever, i am looking *forward* to this years racing, BSB,
    WSBK, MotoGP...Cant wait.

I saw most of the WSBK first round at Philip island, looked decent.

I'll look it up, but i reckon he hit the deck & made more mistakes this
last year than before. please don't think i arent a Rossi fan, i am to
the point i even have a 46 on me fridge door :)
It was glorious to see. Shame Toseland didn't grip it like he should have.

I have never raced, my ability is not there, but i fucking love watching
    those that can.

The competition (by which I mean Lorenzo) was tougher than he's had to
face in a long time. So he had to fight harder to win, rather than sit
around biding his time before a quick sprint across the finish line.
Fighting harder means less margin for error, which is why he went down.

Trouble with Lorenzo is he's simply not as quick as Rossi. Whereas Rossi
has to ride on the limit to beat Lorenzo, Lorenzo has to ride beyond the
limit to stick with Rossi. And riding beyond the limit means he falls
off a lot. Hell, he doesn't even need to be on a GP bike to fall off -
look what he managed in the off season.

Part of me thinks that when Rossi retires, Lorenzo'll be his natural
successor. But Lorenzo needs Rossi more than Rossi needs Lorenzo. And
    there's always Stoner.

Next year, top three will be Rossi, Stoner and Lorenzo in that order,
followed by Spies. I'll be surprised if Pedrosa manages so much as a
    podium all year.

I'm not so sure. I still think that Pedrosa (on his day) is a
fantastic rider capable of leaving the rest of the field for dead so
it all depends on what Honda give him.

The biggest problem is that he's a bit 'fragile' and seems to take
longer to recover from crashes than the other top riders do.

He certainly seems to be sticking to his previous form in winter
    practise.
That is a lovely turn of phrase - and absolutely true.

Doesn't seem as though people have a lot of confidence in Lorenzo.

    Lorenzo
    Rossi
    Stoner

Ahem, I think he bit the dirt at Donington but got back on. Still
    counts as a mistake.
