Ah okay I didn't know that.

You learn something everyday on ukrm! Today I've discovered two things,
something about religion and a new word - "probaboy".

Well, it was a typo - the 'o' is just above the 'l'. However, after
rolling it around my tongue a few times, I quite like the sound of it.

You do have a bit of control because you can put whitespace control
characters in. Then when the recipient views it in a fixed pitch font
they'll get the same layout as you.

So now people have to know the posting etiquette, be able to punctuate and
spell correctly, not post anything that's been posted ever before and know
about the proportional vs fixed width fonts without any help whatsoever,
just so they can discuss the merits of Unix vs Vb or something.

And there are accusations that this ng is going downhill- pff!

I think I'm going to have to wheel out a SYFF for these now. I probably get
more of them than Champ does hairdresser comments.

They certainly appear to have the power, plus I think that Rossi's
feedback (via Burgess) is starting to pay dividends.

Also, according to Mike Scott (in MCN, but he really knows what he's
talking about) the Yamaha is able to take advantage of the
new-for-this-year, extra wide 16.5 inch rear tyres, while they just
    upset the Honda.

Everything is *so* much faster this (at least a second a lap on race
pace, and more in qualifying), and a proportion of this is down to
tyres - the Yamaha is using the new capabilities better than the
Honda. And, while Ducati look terrible this year, they are in fact
going faster than last year; just not as much faster as everyone else.

Apparently it's for religious reasons. Or so I was told when I went
    over in '96.

I read in a proportional font, because I find it easier on the eye.
Generally, I couldn't give a **** what other people have underlined,
    etc.

I write in a fixed-pitch font, though, so when I do it, it's right.
