basically meant climbing to cruising altitude within the confines of
the perimeter fence; I think the pilot got his knee down on that one.
And when we left Basra all the aircraft lights (interior and exterior)
were switched off for the take off but that was about it.

Well I haven't met you so don't *know* how strongly you feel about such
things but I'm not that surprised by your remark.

Well the reaction of others is no great surprise. When organisations
like unions turn in on themselves hell bent on self destruction there
