  1. Andrew 955 Daytona... Marv ZX7R... Adam RC45 #18 and Mr.RC45 traveled from the
Busy Little Shop in Sacramento to Steelhorse Fabrications in Suisun City in
    about 55 minutes...

On to Alice's were we met up with the great Jamin and the beautiful Keri and
even Harley man himself Tim Morrow... (sorry Tim your pic didn't turn out)

We hit Monterey Thursday with plenty of time to check out the sights at the
    track...

I think Mr.Yamaha had pee running down his leg after Mr.RC45's glorious growl
filled their tent... I predict a Yamaha V4 for the new 800cc MotoGp limit...
    http://www.fox302.com/userdata/netters2/files/ShopPics/MrRC45YamahaTerritory.JPG

Bubba Gumps not only serves good food but they also allow bikes on their
    property...
this NR750 stole the show... it's the first time Honda's ultimate V4 has ever
been seen during Laguna Seca... I got to know the owner Jason... he may pick the
Busy Little Shop to tune his $65,000 prize instead of a Honda Dealer... I had to
    swear a oath of
    no modifications...
    http://www.fox302.com/userdata/netters2/files/ShopPics/NR750LarryBubbaGumps.JPG

Hilland was our Bubba Gumps waiter... he loves bikes... he very knowledgeable
about MotoGp... it was a pleasure to know him... like how waiters do you know
that would periodically check on your bike as you dine???

Michele (Mick-kay-lay) and Alberto our extended Italian family...
    http://www.fox302.com/userdata/netters2/files/ShopPics/MikaelLarryAlberto.JPG

I introduce 3 nice American girls to Alberto and Michele to entertain at Bubba
Gumps... they swore they were of legal age... Julie's dad owns Lockhart
    Phillips...

Saturday night someone pokes me in the shoulder and asked "Hey, are you a Nicky
    fan???

"Of course" I said... "Nicky is going to win it because he has the corkscrew
    100%
figured out whereas Rossi has only got the corkscrew 90% figured out"...

That person was none other than Nicky's first cousin Kathy Hayden... She is
a current flat tracker... mercy the racing blood runs deep in the Hayden
    family...
she added that she might try her hand at road racing someday... she's got her
    eye
on Nicky's old 600 Supersport that sits today in a barn back in Owensboro
    Kentucky...

Mike Czysz got permission to unload his C1 for display at Bubba Gumps... but
since it had no Ca tag the cops would not give permission for first all American
MotoGp bike to be ridden down Cannery Row... so Mike started it up and pushed
    the
GP bike to the spot where a TV film crew was waiting to tape an interview...
after which Mike Czysz took questions form the crowd... I raised my hand and
said "I have a question, but I doubt you will answer"... and the question was
"is the crank in the C1 phased 180 or 360??? however as expected Mike Czysz
declined to answer... as his chief wrench gives me the stare...

Saturday AMS members Kent... Dan... xlax... Andrew (holding sign) and Jamin pose
in front of the Rossi #46...
    http://www.fox302.com/userdata/netters2/files/ShopPics/AMS.HordeLaguna.JPG

I got to the M1 early and made a few changes to the graphics... I felt that if
Nicky wins... it would effect Yamaha more than Rossi... nothing effects Rossi...
    nothing...
    http://www.fox302.com/userdata/netters2/files/ShopPics/GoNicky.JPG

Saturday morning Nicky works the crowd... he signed my hat and Repsol tee
shirt... I picked him to win Sunday and I said "I've never been wrong yet"...
(that was a bold face lie because I picked him to win Mugello back in 04)...
    http://www.fox302.com/userdata/netters2/files/ShopPics/NickyPreRaceDay.JPG

I worked hard to recruit the Yamaha girls over to Honda...
    http://www.fox302.com/userdata/netters2/files/ShopPics/YamahaGirls.JPG

Colin was armed with the Yamaha Tee Shirt gun... he fired one at me when I
shouted "TEXAS"... I gave it to Alberto to take back to Italy... Mr.RC45 would
have just have done a burn out on it anyway...
    http://www.fox302.com/userdata/netters2/files/ShopPics/ColinTeeShirtGun.JPG

Race Legend Giacomo Agostini 15 time World Champion... now top that Mr. Rossi!!!
    http://www.fox302.com/userdata/netters2/files/ShopPics/GiacomoAgostiniLarry.JPG

Marco Melandri after his crash in turn 10 Saturday... he also crashed at the
base of the corkscrew Friday... he just couldn't believe people actually race
Laguna!!! oh well... some of us love Laguna... it's never disappointed me...
    http://www.fox302.com/userdata/netters2/files/ShopPics/MarcoMelandriCrashTurn10.JPG

The Atom Ariel was interesting... I'd like it better if the driver sat in the
middle like F1... side by side sports cars are dead and buried... center drive
sports cars are the future... you know me... I got the vision...
    http://www.fox302.com/userdata/netters2/files/ShopPics/ArielAtomLarry.JPG

Nicky Nicky Nicky... your Laguna Seca MotoGp Champion... he controlled the race
from start to finish... Nicky was mobbed back in the pits... mercy I barely made
it in the same pic with him...
    http://www.fox302.com/userdata/netters2/files/ShopPics/MotoGpChampion.JPG

MotoGp was a success... I think all the American fans realize it's a new era and
a new game... not one 180 degree crank inline 4 was heard during the MotoGp
    race...

We rode home Monday... whew I'm happy to report no tickets and no trouble... I
already got my motel reservations made for the 20 to the 24 2005... you got's
    to make it...

This Marv rides a gorgeous ZX7R with Chandlers sig on one side of the
tank and Russell's on the other.

    Larry-

It was great crossing paths with you again and the other AMS'ers. Thanks
for sharing the photos. You seem to get into all the strange situations
    that I somehow miss!

  10. Yeah, I think next year I'm changing my last name to Lovisone for the
weekend so I can be shepherded around by Uncle Larry and rub shoulders with
all the superstars. I saw Agostini from about 10' away, but Larry
practically got to HUG the guy! I did get to briefly chat up and shake hands
with Kevin Schwantz, though. That was cool.

Dan, Ken, Larry, Tim: it was good getting to meet you guys. Larry thanks a
bunch for sharing those pictures. I'm just now weeding through my own from
the whole 2-week trip (got back just over 24 hours ago), and will be posting
them soon. Can I hit you up for high res versions of the shots of me and
Karri on Mr. RC45? Those would be good additions to the photo gallery of our
    trip.

Xlax's vanity photos have become his earmark;) He has a great need to
play the sycophant among the superstars, rare bike collectors (who
cares if they can ride or not?) and of course, the umbrella girls, at
the wifey's expense. IOW, a stereotypical, over emotional, under
    educated, Italian heritage male;)

Maybe not the nicest assessment but likely the most truthful one
anyone's posted about ole' super Larry. He's out to please everyone as
long as they fit into a five-minute time slot. Thing is, he ain't
exactly Jay Leno, if you catch my drift? A regular guy, hardly.

And hell, who am I to talk but during a one on one conversation I
listen to the other person's point, perspective and try to get beyond
the superficial status symbols to see the real person inside. I may
come off as a hot/cold bully & intimidating at times in AMS but as
I've often said, in this single dimensional medium one often needs to
get past the politeness to see what's really going on. -:)

  12. You think I did good... mercy me... Mary got to rub shoulders with Valentino no
less... she loves posing with those Italian boys as much as I like posing with
    the girls...

Can I hit you up for high res versions of the shots of me and
Certainly... what's a good email address to send all the pics of you and
    Karri???
