  5. Indeed. Said thanks in the other posting, and now, with 20 minutes to
go, another thanks. I'd have missed it as well.

  6. Ditto. Watched 125s and 250s on TVE1 and then it just finished. Switched
over to TVE2 now and there's 5 laps to go.

    Bugger.

Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, Porl
Christ, but that must have been dispiriting. Leading all that way,
thinking "I just *know* that ****'s going to... there he goes!".

It was hard work, though. That was a very aggressive move by Rossi. Was
it just after that that Gibernau's front mudguard got shredded?

IMO a proper dummy spitting moment by Sete on the podium and in the
press conference. I'm not sure why because Sete is seriously
talented, but I just don't like him.

I was most impressed with how Rossi managed to turn his Yamaha after
going up the inside at the left hand hairpin then running wide. I
think it was just before his final move. The bike just seemed to turn
    and hook up instantly.

  14. I think I might have mentioned it, but when I went to Jerez, all the
spaniards were rooting for Rossi. I asked why, and they just said
    "because he's number one".

Having said that, they're very much behind Pedrosa in the 250s.

    How's the racing going?

I think Sete still has the rich kid tag which isn't really fair.
He's come through the Spanish ranks so he's a proper "home bred" hero.
Pretty good and I'm really enjoying it but as I'm getting closer to
the front guys I'm pushing it harder hence the spill at Mallory.
Problem is I can't really afford to come off, not because of the money
but the inconvenience to Sarah when I'm hobbling about for a couple of
    weeks.

  16. Come out here for a couple of days on the piss. Bring swimming trunks.
Having said that, I don't bother with them.

He said aggressive, not unsafe or unfair. The skill level required to
do it, and hold it, was immense. Sete was just pissed off that he got
beaten fair and square by the better man.
