I never heard their names and I never saw anyone in the Pits, all I know
is they sounded 'foreign'. I see it on SpeedVision, I don't know if they
have their own commentators or what.

Randy Mamola (their reporter in the pits) is not seen but heard and has
an American accent so my guess is you get different commentators to the
ones we have on British Eurosport.

I'll see if I can get names next race. I looked at the speed website and
they don't even list the MotoGP commentators.

  5. There was a short period on Saturday where there were two voice tracks
speaking on the Moto GP programme. One was Toby Moody and in the
background there was another English commentary - most odd.

  6. Beware the changes to the Sky package that starts in September. They've
broken down the basic cheapest package into "themes" and there is a
minimum number you have to subscribe to. You may get away with a cheap
package if you're not interested in many of the other channels. The
allocation of channels to themes is fiendish though if you do watch a
    broad range of channels.

More info on the Sky corporate website and in the recent press releases
that accompanied their latest financial results. You won't find anything
    on the normal Sky website.

I find Toby and Julians' voices more listenable but Randy Mamola is a
squeaking noise "Here they come past the pits again guys! Listen to it!"
However the BBC don't have ad breaks and they get decent interviews with the
riders. But then Eurosport do the nice track cam at the beginning.

Hence I get to the first ad break in the motogp race and switch to BBC.

You'd have a hard job seeing it on the beeb. They gave it up. Channel 4
have it now and it's usually given an 1 hour slot about 2am. they spend
the first 15 mins talking about shite, show 15 mins of the race, then
talk shite for another 15, then race 2 for maybe 20 mins then more shite
    plus 3 3min each adverts.

this w/ends wsb was shown at 4.25am monday morning.
