Don't do as I just did and go on the tinterweb to look at the MotoGP qualifying result only to be greeted with the results of the
    race :-/

Saw its on BBC2 tomorrow and assumed that was going to be live coverage rather than highlights, ah well better care will be taken in
    future.

Heh, I saw the live race.

    TBH, it wasn't that exciting

    I still enjoyed it.

The 250cc race was good and the 125 was crazy. When will Chaz get a good
    bike?

Did you see the GP qualifying? Now that was something else.

Agreed, The Derby Lad (Melandri) is putting in a good show though,
Would be nice if he could take Donnington.

A colleague reckons it's due to the cloggies banning HGVs and large
buses from motorways on Sundays. I personally DG much of AF.

I'm watching it here now. This is my first MotoGP race in years, this
satellite TV stuff rocks. But don't those two cunts ever shut up?

Who? Toby and Julian? They're a great team, specially with Randy Mamola
down in the pits getting the scoop.

They're fucking _appalling_. They just miss so much of what's going on
on-screen, so engrossed in their inane banter they are.
The one bright spot of Eurosport's presentation, IMO.

Still about 200 times better than the BBC commentators though.

Um... you've not watched the BBC coverage have you.

One of hte reasons I'm considering Sky is solely for Eurosport - their
commentary is part of the reason. That and they show the races live.

So what's wrong with them? I've never noticed them getting stuff so
completely and utterly wrong, or just not having any facts.

I mean, I didn't see the WSB race on the beeb, but I bet they at least
had some idea of why, and exactly when, the first race was
red-flagged. And they probably mentioned that the starting positions
for the restart would have been based on positions at the end of the
previous lap, hence negating Vermeulen's overtake of Corser etc.

The Eurosport guys are just shite at giving useful information,
preferring to prattle on ad infinitum about 'Stalker' down in 15th
    place, or whatever.

If it's a GP which is being shown live on both channels I always make
an effort to switch over to the beeb for the race. As well as the much
better commentary, they show it _all_, which for me is much more
    important.

    Advertising breaks suck.
Yes, I have to laud them for that, at least.

    Better? All?

Where do I sign up to this foreign version of the BBC - it sounds much
    better.

And the podium and the interviews.

    And the 125's and 250's.

I prefer the Eurosport commentators and, for a reason I can't quite put
my finger on, the BBC ones irritate me.

Particularly if they show that "old lady on a bandit" advert, closely
followed by the T.W.O. ad "Read it! I'm a cock!". Although I quite liked
the "Hasselroder premium beer" voiceover, but they haven't done it for a
    while.

I was referring to the GP, you mong. Yes, Jack Burnickle for WSB can
miss things, but the last time I watched the beeb, it was shite.

The GP boys missed loads of stuff as well - I just can't remember the
    specifics.
