    Hi folks,

Someone here who can help me with a scanned service manual or worfield
    manual?

What are the specs for the valves?

What kind of oil to use on the cycle and how much?

Where can i get old gastank emblems?

    Regards,

Ride it into the river and buy a normal bike,
    like a Susurzususkie.

Piddie -- kids come here and what can I do?

  5. A 1959 Italian motorcycle....that is a tough one.

55 years old would almost qualify as an antique. Have you tried a museum?
While there has to be someone that knows about these motorcycles, sadly I
    am not one of them.

I can only speculate on the type of oil. My guess would be that orignally
they specified 30 weight oil. Multi-viscosity oils weren't generally
available back in 1959. I will go out on a limb and say that 20w50 would
be a good choice to use in the bike.

As far as the rest of the questions are concerned, I would call and ask the
curator of a car and motorcycle museum. Maybe a classic motorcycle club.
Search ebay. There is also a magazine called "Classic Motorcycle
Mechanics" that is published in the UK. The website is
    http://www.classicmechanics.com.

    good luck

Not yet.i just bought it yesterday.
When i came home and got clear in my mind the thoughts of the oil etc.
    popped up into my mind.
Hope the last owner hasnt riuned it with using unleaded fuel and th wrong
    oil.
Original it has been a 40w oil.
The last owner put 15w40 into it.
What can happen to the motor if a multi oi is used?
What kind of side effects could happen?
On on point of the engine the motor is bleeding oil a litle bit.
My though was that that depends on the oil already.
    Thx.
Well you find minor infos on he web.
You can find not re<rly good infos on the web about it.
Seams lie this modell is uncommon in the wild fre nature nowadays.
You find 125-175 cubic inches machines but not the 98 cubic inches.

Semas like i bought myself a blody hell yob for over the winter.
Can only hope hat the engine is in the condition i am thinking of and what i
    heard when it was working.
    Bought i without test drive.
Doesnt want to scew things up more as they are atm.
    Regards,
    Ingo

Try: http://forums.delphiforums.com/oldbikes/messages you will have to sign
up if you want to post questions, but you might get pointed in the right
direction. The Moderator is more in tune with classic Brit bikes, but he
might have resources available. As to the crankcase, have you tried EVOO?
