Moto Guzzi V4 Sport - Opinions?

My conversation with the MOFEP went something like this:

Me: Bloody BMW has a broken frame. This is gonna take some time to fix.
MOFEP: Buy another bike
Me: Another bike will probably cost as much as fixing this one. At least
with this one I'll know what I've got.
MOFEP: Go and bloody buy yourself a new bike.
Me: I didn't want to spend that much money.
MOFEP: Haven't you heard of a loan. Come with me on Saturday. We'll do
the round of bike shops and pick one.
Me: But it's a lotta money.
MOFEP: The bike gets used everyday, doesn't it?
Me: Well..... yes.
MOFEP: And I'm not waiting until you fix that old BMW before we can go
on our next ride
Me: It'll only be a few months
MOFEP: I really liked that Yamaha you took for a test ride at the AGM
Me: But they cost a fortune!!!!!
MOFEP: [gives 'the look']
Me: Yes, dear.
MOFEP: Good. It's settled.


Mind you, we can fast forward 6 years and get:

MOFEP: Bloody hell. Can't you stay off that bike for just one week!!!!!
