    Hi Folks,

First off, did anybody else attend the BMW RA rally in Birmingham
last weekend? It was a real hoot.

Secondly, I am looking at a Moto Guzzi Breva, a 750cc V-twin, shaft
driven machine that's almost short enough for my squatty legs. Anybody
else ever ridden one? I understand that MPH Cycles in Houston is the
place to go for MGs in Tejas......carry on

I was just at European Cycle Sports in Plano this afternoon. They had a
brand-new Breva sitting right out front. Sharp looking bike! Didn't ride
    it though.http://www.europeancyclesports.com/main.htm

  3. MPH in houston on the west side
Mike Hazen carries Goose and works on old BMWs

British USA / Gulf Coast BMW also is Goose dealer in S. Houston near
    hobby airport

both great shops. Brit USA does excellent service & restoration for old
Triumph Norton BSA etc too place feels like a bike shop, it's got soul.

won't go wrong with either one.

Haven't ridden one, but someone on another list I'm on has and this is what
    she had to say:
"Bravo!!!! whew whata sweet sweeeet motorcycle. Am wanting one so much, with
the color matched hard bags. Love the type of power that engine
makes, although I can tell my Magna has more brute power. Was kinda one
footing it (I'm 5'2" with 27 or so inseam), but easily. By the end of the
demo, I was real comfortable with this bike. Best bike I've ever ridden.

Only thing that bugs me a bit, and it bugs me in principle only, is the lack
of a monoshock. But the dual shocks it does have work very well...for casual
hot rodding anyway..I'm sure for track purposes it wouldn't live up."
