Moto GP to go to 800cc in 2007

  1. They'll do 350kmh with nitrous (I saw it on Pizza--and that was only with a
    50cc donk)

Or working in an incorporated family business which means you can salary
package... (yes I knew this already ;)
Honestly that depends upon whose figures you use. Ford list them
seperatly in statistics when and where the information is available
(from user/buyer/owner surveys etc), and yes... some of those figures
are estimates... but they do exist.
I think (don't quote me) it was more like 15 to 150 :)
Perhaps that is true in Sydney, but many things are true in Sydney which
    don't happen much elsewhere :)
Yes... but the chains are meant to go on the bike ;-) *runs away quickly*

I did 2500 kms on thursday and friday in the 4x4 with a trailer on the
back. 1000 kms of that there was a car on the trailer.

Except for the bit through sydney and a albury and bendigo it was _all_
cruise control... I couldn't live without it.

Yah... the prius and the baby smart consistently seem to come up a bit
short in the handling stakes. Which is part (but not all) of the reason
    I'm not a fan.

Unlike JL I'm not looking for a performance engine... but performance
handling (with a modicum of comfort) is desirable....

    I'd have a different order :)

    I'd rate handling 1
Comfort 2 (yeah I know... can be hard to mix those 2)
    torque (and towing ability) 3
    fuel economy 4
running costs (including insurance costs) 5
appearence 6 (but anything I find activly ugly I'd cross off the short
    list).
I've got a mate with a blown up jag V8... will that do ;-)

Light just dawned, you'd be referring to the Bandit then ? Biggest
mistake I ever made, I bought it because I wanted something pillion
friendly (not actually practical but headed in that general direction),
quite frankly lugging the mack truck around really dulled the enjoyment
I had in bikes, but I didn't really notice the interest was ebbing. The
Raptor is serious fun to ride (and ironically enough it's a better
pillion bike from the rider's point of view (hard seat and lack of grab
rail is a negative from the pillion's point of view !) Had to ruin the
looks with a ventura rack to get a grab rail.

I'm even more negative about practical than I was !

    JL
(thinking about a Mean Streak for a pillion bike maybe ?)

Ahh yes, but I do plenty of research on the coffee quality of cafes in
sydney (not to mention the waitress quality and the scenery quality :)

It's hard to knock the Bandit's for a heap of reasons... but they are
pretty bland in stock form, which is probably why I ended up spending
about $3000 in mods on mine :)

I'll buy that, as I argued a couple of months ago, Sydney is a different
    country all together.
    <shocked look> Why didn't someone tell me ?!
