The short of it, man hits MC rider, rider ends up on hood of cage, yelling
for driver to stop, driver drives away and denies ever seeing rider.

I don't think we should be so quick as to put down this guy's bike.
We don't know about him, other than he was an owner of a bike
shop...probably not the bike shop in the link, I would bet. We know he has
a job, we know he was riding his bike, and we know he was hit by a total
asswipe.

He may have built that bike all by himself, and that's worth something.
We can't really tell how well built the bike is from news photos. The parts
and paint could easily come to $30k. How long would it take any of us to
built a bike like that? How much is your time worth?
