Stocking up on branded booze, so perusing the Asda website for a home
    delivery. Items of note:

Bombay Sapphire £14 for a LITRE

GK Ales - Abbot, Hen's Teeth, Ridley's Old Bob & OSH £1 per 500ml bottle

The Hen's Teeth is bottle conditioned & 6.5%. The Ridley's is lovely.

seems perfectly pleasant to me as a G&T, with a slice[1] of lemon.

[1] there seem to be three slices of lemon in my highball glass which
suggests the sample size has been three large ones

I recall my considerable disappointment the first time I opened a bottle
and discovered the gin wasn't blue.

Didn't stop me drinking it you understand.

the bottle is fake too - blue cling film on clear glass

I wouldn't pay the RRP but at £14 per litre it is okay.

    the surface.

Only way to drink the stuff, IMO. And Well, maybe with a hint of
Vermouth, but none of this disgusting tonic water stuff.

Prefer it with Ice, mind, although I've not tried the brand in
    question.
