My problem with touch screen devices is that the screen can get fucked
easily. And re Garmin listening to their customers, I'm sure they do
but the use of GPS on motorcycles is probably a very small part of their
    business.

  2. Is this a good deal ALDI[1] again:

    Personal Digital Assistant £349.99
GPS mobile navigation system and handheld organiser that can play music
and videos. Two 256MB MMC memory cards. TFT display with 65,536 colours.
Includes major roads of the UK, Ireland and Europe. Direction voice
output, colour and arrowhead navigation. Satellite based positioning,
for distance information and instructions of the route. Three years
    manufacturer's warranty and customer helpline.

[1] I am going to get a Pikie label.

Spec sounds ok, but it depends what it is, i.e. make, model, etc. and how
their price stacks up against a specialist supplier before I'd comment on
    the VfM aspect.

  4. I'm on ALDI's notification email and go along if there is something I
    want.

I've bought a pneumatic nail gun at £19 that is still sold in Machine
Mart or Screw fix for £79

    Omnisaws for £19 (MM = £60)

Radio linked to Rugby clock with projection time option for £12 normally
    £30

They are flogging compressors for £69 (MM =£130)

    DVD players £39

If you are choosy and know what you are buying a good bargain can be
had. Most of their electrical stuff is badged Tevion, tools badged Power
    craft.
