The Raptor's got a nearly new one of these on the back, & a very bald
one on the front. Should I get a new one (or whatever the new
equivalent is) for the front, or should I take notice of all the people
in forum land saying how crap they are, replace both with something
else, & stick the rear on ebay?

I don't think they make that tyre any more.

The 10R has had Qualifiers then Qualifier II's the last couple of
times and both are ok - the II's have a better tread pattern and are
pretty good in the wet. I think Andy had the Qualifier RR's so can
probably comment on those as they'd be the closest equivalent.

    Not good when they're cold.

Now I've got the obvious bit out of the way I'll say that as far as
I'm concerned they're excellent tyres and apart from the one little
'incident' I've had no problems with them. I think Champ was also
using them for the Alps trip last year and he didn't seem to be
    suffering from grip issues.

I think I'm the only one who had that problem on hot tyres, & I've no
idea why. I'll play with the pressures at Silverstone & see if I can
    figure it out.
