  8. Not really. When you're down near Málaga, you'll have to pop in for a
pint or two. But before you come here, learn a bit of spanish. "Aquí,
ellos comen letras" "Here they eat letters" (not the french variety -
although, if it will go in the paella...).

Seriously, they don't use many consonants. "Maomeno" = "Mas o menos" =
"More or less". "Etá serraou" = "Está cerrado" = "It is closed".

Fucking hard to follow at a million miles per hour. And that's when
    they're sober.

Well that's why you've not "learnt" it then. Not suprising neither.

  15. Remarkably close to French, really ... 'Dieu de mon âme' (not that this
expression means anything, other than as a 'pléonasme', as we'd say...).

Genuine Valencian paella brings rice, some vegetables and chicken.
Things that are commonly available to a farmer in that area. No snails.

emerged from their own little world to say
I though snails would be easy to find on a farm. I never had a problem on
my Grandad's farm in Herefordshire, aged 3. According to my sister I found
    them tasty.
